Starting Lineups:

Spurs:
PG - Tony Parker
SG - Manu Ginobli
SF Richard Jefferson
PF Tim Duncan
C Dejuan Blair

Thunder:
PG - Russel Westbrook
SG - Thabo Sefolosha
SF - Kevin Durant
PF - Serge Ibaka
C - Nenad Krstic

This is going to be only our 2nd real test of the season so far, the Hornets being the other one. Althought the Thunder have struggled mightly so far on the defensive side they are dynamic offensive team. The keys to game for us are going to be containing Westbrook and Durant. We need to keep Westbrook off the offensive glass and we need to turn him into a jump shooter. Also we need to turn Durant into a volume shooter and keep him out of the paint.

The Thunder right now are one of the worst teams in the league at defending the 3 point line so we need to continue shooting the lights out from 3.

Nick Collison will be out for this game and Jeff Green is questionable with an ankle injury for the Thunder and of course James Anderson will be out for us.

Go Spurs!!

Good test for the Spurs and i hope we keep winning and making a good record..
I'm still hating James Anderson's injury.

Me too we're really going to miss him. Hopefully Neal can step and fill that void.

We play ridiculously bad on sundays, so this shouldn't be much of a game for you guys.

Also, westbrook is shooting jumpshots very well this year. That's why his numbers are so ridiculous.

24 pts, 8 asts, 6.5 rebs, 91 ft%, .574 ts%, 27 PER (second in NBA behind paul)

I hope its a good game although i expect you guys to destroy us. Good luck anyways

Well aware but i'd rather have him shooting jumers than getting into the paint and kicking it out.

Unbelievable. I remember we couldn't stop them from scoring now we're on the verge of blowing them out. This Spurs team is on a mission...

very nice win! Once again our depth showed in the end, we just have too many weapons now. It's gonna be a fun season!

This is one of craziest games i've seen in a while.

Matt Bonner is 7 0f 7 from 3, that's right.

Amazing game. In the first half we had no business being in this game in the 1st half but we stuck around and had an excellent 2nd and ended up blowing out a very good team.

OKLAHOMA CITY — It was a historic night for the Spurs at Ford Center on Sunday, so it was fitting that it will be remembered for one of the greatest shooting performances in club history.

Never in club history has a Spurs team opened a season better than this season’s version, which is off to an 8-1 start after extending its win streak to seven games with a 117-104 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Matt Bonner, off the injured list and playing just his third game of the season, was a perfect 7 for 7 on 3-point shots, one of only three Spurs who made at least as many shots as he missed.

Somehow, the Spurs overcame their second-worst shooting performance of the season to defeat a team expected to be among the Western Conference’s elite.

Great win.

I can't believe Simmons picked the Thunder to win 60+ and make the finals.

Thunder lacks lowpost scoring and frontcourt size. I don't see them being a title contender until they solve atleast ONE of those issues.

I don't see them being a contender even if they have those things. Their defense is one of the worst this season...
