Starting Lineups:

Spurs:
PG - Tony Parker
SG - Manu Ginobli
SF Richard Jefferson
PF Tim Duncan
C Dejuan Blair

Clippers:
PG - Eric Bledsoe
SG - Eric Gordon
SF - Al-Farouq Aminu
PF - Blake Griffin
C - DeAndre Jordan

Coming into this game we've won 18 straight against the Clippers and we still haven't lost a game on the road yet this year. The key to winning this one is going to be stopping Blake Griffin from killing us in the paint. We can't give him easy buckets in the paint and we need to keep him off the boards.

Dice and the big 3 should be well rested for this one and if Duncan can get another triple double we should be able to win this one.

Kaman will not play for the Clippers and Baron Davis probably won't play either.

Go Spurs!!

Go Spurs Go!

i hope this game is not as closed as it was the last one. I can deal with Griffin beasting, but not Rasual Butler or guys like that. Let's start focus, get a good lead and let the bench play..

Agreed. We can't play down to their level. We have to start this game with some energy.

At this point in the season and for the minimum? Not really. Even if they're better, they're not THAT much better.

Not sure why you suddenly bring this up thou... It's like you're blaming him for the team being down 8 in halftime despite Udoka playing only 4 minutes in which we didn't lose any lead when he's in the game.

Clips have a lot of people playing very well. Deandre already have 7 boards. Gordon with 9 points. Butler made three 3-pointers already. Blake Griffin with 17 points and 8 rebounds. Baron Davis is just incredible finding people in his 13 minutes of action with 5 points and 7 assists.

Us, not so much. Duncan and Parker hasn't shown up. Jefferson too. Bonner can't hit a shot. Only Hill, Neal, and Manu is playing well.

Parker only played 19 minutes. Must have upset Pop.

Tough loss.

I don't think he did anything to upset pop. IMO it's more because of how Hill, Manu, and Neal were playing. Those were the 3 guys who showed up and they're all guards. The matchup didn't allow us to go small (RJ at PF) because of Blake Griffin. In a game where no one is making shots, them 3 guys are the only one hitting and making plays. Pop's just playing the guys who are hot IMO.

Anyways, props to LAC. They played really well. Got to see Baron's playmaking skills which is still elite. Blake Griffin was dunking on everybody. He must've had like 10 dunks tonight or something. Atleast 7.

Our shots were all short today. I'm thinking because of the b2b because there were tons of open shots that we just missed. We played awful defense and we couldn't hit shots on offense. Story of the game.

The "waive Udoka" thing was after he missed 3 shots. I'm a hater, i know, but Ime..
I mean, i can be a Bonner hater sometimes, but then he makes 7-7 3pointers and i have to love him. Nothing good on Ime so far..

This is a bad lose. We can't lose against the worst team in the NBA. Taugh night shooting in the b2b..
The problems was clearly our offense. Griffin beasting and Gordon good production only cost us 90 points, so, it was definitly our offense.

Now we need Dallas and Utah to lose some games..And Lakers too..hehe

What a horrible game. We would've lost to D-Leaguers tonight, it was that bad.

Oh well, still best record in the league.

Just an ugly game. We looked tired and the Clippers jumped all over us.

I'll give Blake Griffin some props though. He came out and played his ass off against the best team in the league. He wanted to win this game and he put it all out there. The kids going to be a great player.

That, and Baron Davis made some sweet passes - esp that half court lob to Griffin for the jam. Rasual Butler got hot as well.

It's embarrassing to lose to this team, but it was on a back to back and I imagine our record in those games historically is not great.

Griffin reminds me of a pre-microfracture STAT, or a pre-cocaine addicted fat Shawn Kemp. His explosiveness is just astounding.

Well but he will need to develop a face up jumper or else he'll be limited to being the recipient of pick and roles. Once he develop a jumper, he'll be even harder to guard but teams probably will let him shoot it instead. He's still all dunks right now. I feel he's Amare 2.0. His game will have to develop like Amare. The one thing that can take his game to a higher level than Amare is if he become a dominant defensive player.

He wants to dunk it every time, but he does have a decent bank shot as well.
