GT: Spurs vs. Warriors

When: 10:30 PM ET, January 24, 2011
Where: ORACLE Arena, Oakland, CA

Starting Lineups:

Spurs:
PG - Tony Parker
SG - Manu Ginobli
SF - Richard Jefferson
PF - Tim Duncan
C - Dejuan Blair

Warriors:
PG - Stephen Curry
SG - Monta Ellis
SF - Dorell Wright
PF - David Lee
C - Andris Biedrins

After a embarssing perfomance in New Orleans we need a bounce back game tomorrow night agianst the Warriors. To beat them we`re going to have to do our best to stop Curry and Ellis. We need to keep Ellis out of the paint and force him to take jumpers off the dribble, I`d rather have him beat us from mid range rather than at the rim. And with Curry we`re going to have to keep a man glued to him and we can`t give him open looks.

Go Spurs!!

Back to back on the road against a team that had won 7 in a row? Not surprised we lost, though I didn't expect to lose by 24.

Moving on, yeah if we contain Curry & Ellis it should be gravy.

Looking for Beast Blair to have a big game.

That was scary when TD went down in the 2nd. Came back in the 3rd and looked okay. Hope it's nothing serious.

That was scary. What that proves is that the Spurs need to get Dalembert when he asks for a buyout from the Kings. Spurs need a big who can hold the fort defensively for like 20-25 minutes unless Splitter will get that kind of playing time which i doubt. Plus, you can't count on a rookie to do that. Spurs need one more big to cushion Duncan's minutes even more.
