I think when FA gets bought out, they look at the roster of the teams and see where they fit in in terms of getting playing time and being able to contribute.

I'm not sure who you're talking about here, but we're pretty deep right now unless the FA is a SF.

A big like Troy or anyone else knows he's not getting playing time over the current 5 bigs we have. If they come, they're injury replacements. IMO, that's a spot reserved for guys like Sean Marks. Not guys who think they should start.

A PG like Bibby or anyone else knows Parker is the PG and Hill is the backup PG. They don't want to come here becoming a 3rd string PG.

SG/SF type players I think Pop will go after. That's why we hear Brewer. He fits a need and should get some playing time and even a crack at the starting job next year.

Pavlovic To Sign With Celtics
Mavericks, Brewer Close To Deal
Rasual Butler Will Sign With Bulls
Thornton Receives Buyout, Will Sign With Warriors
Knicks Claim Derrick Brown Off Waivers
I belive we need a wing and Im not saying anyone of these would be a good choice ove the other but they are a good choice over a empty seat.

I see no need for any of the players listed.

Pavlovic was basically available all season and we didn't make a move for him. I don't think the Spurs were interested in him from the very beginning.

Corey Brewer chose money. Hard to blame him. It's not like he's been making a bunch of money over his career. Young players choose money over anything else. It's the older guys who has made their money that look at things differently.

Al Thornton... I haven't even read the news he went to GS. Must've missed it.

Derrick Brown got claimed off waivers. Plus, it's not like he's gonna get playing time here. I doubt he even beats James Anderson for the backup SF spot.

I was a little upset too but the longer you are a spurs fan the easier a pill it is to swallow.

We don't exactly get the big names out there.

We have to make due with the Blairs, Hills, and Neals of the world.

No worries, its what gives us our identity. Manu, Tony, and TD have played their entire careers together. Not many organizations out there like ours.

Brewer was the only one I was disappointed in missing out on, couldnt really care less about the rest.

Added salt to the wounds that he still ended up in Texas :(
