GT: Lakers vs. Spurs

Post#1 » by Nolan » Sat Mar 5, 2011 10:48 pm

When: 3:30 PM ET, March 6, 2011
Where: AT&T Center, San Antonio, TX

VS

Starting Lineups:

Lakers:
PG - Derrick Fisher
SG - Kobe Bryant
SF - Ron Artest
PF - Pau Gasol
C - Andrew Bynum

Spurs:
PG - Tony Parker
SG - Manu Ginobili
SF - Richard Jefferson
PF - Tim Duncan
C - DeJuan Blair

We're coming off a huge win over the Heat to face the Lakers at home. The key to winning this game is going to be shutting down the Lakers bigmen. Gasol, Bynum and Odom are all outstandingly talented players and if we can't contain them we can't win this game.

Go Spurs!!

The Lakers aren't on our level this year. We should win this game by 10 or so. Kobe will go into black hole mode again and shoot them out of it. Only way I can see them winning is if Gasoft and Brokenum start getting more of the ball. Which won't happen on Kobe's anti-MVP watch.

Gasoft, Brokenum...I love it! Made my day. Spurs win will this game nicely. I say we have another 10 games to go and then we can coast to the post season.

We're getting crushed ... Looks like the Heat game, but this time it's the other way round.

Spurs were due a very bad game and the winning streak at home had to end. I had a feeling they would lose after coming off a high against the Heat. No big deal. Spurs get a pass.

Not even close. Though I hope to see another playoff match up, preferably in WCF. Should be another great battle.

You Laker fans clearly needed this one. You're all acting like you won the chip. Pretty sad really. It's just a regular season game. Should we be anointing the Hornets and Grizzlies as big time now? They beat us pretty convincingly too.

A fan cannot be happy over a victory? You wanted to "crush us fools" in which "crushing" would probably be defined by what the Lakers did to the Spurs, so what's the issue? The two time defending champs beat the team that they had not beat this season, the best team in the conference, and also the league and is also seen as the biggest threat out in the West. Keep that in with the fact that many analysts have gone and clamored the Spurs as the big dog in the West without giving the Lakers a second thought.

I mean, what's really the issue here?

Whatever emotion you choose to express over one regular season game is entirely up to you. Just don't come in here and act all high and mighty about it.

So let me get this straight...you ppl don't like us because we gloat about winning "one game"? We gloat because of posts like this one ^^
Next time, dont be so quick to run your mouth. Who knows, Gasoft and Brokenum might look Duncan't look old

Return to San Antonio Spurs
