GT: Spurs vs. Suns

Post#1 » by Nolan » Wed Apr 13, 2011 4:55 pm

When: 10:30 PM ET, April 13, 2011
Where: US Airways Center, Phoenix, AZ

VS

Starting Lineups:

Spurs:
PG - Tony Parker
SG - Manu Ginobli
SF - Richard Jefferson
PF - Tim Duncan
C - Antonio McDyess

Suns:
PG - Steve Nash
SG - Grant Hill
SF - Jared Dudley
PF - Channing Frye
C - Marcin Gortat

Tonight we will finish off the regular season against the Suns. The big three will be in the lineup tonight but I doubt they will get many minutes. The to winning this game is going to be stopping the Suns pick and roll, if we can contain Gortat and Frye off the pick and roll we should be able to win this game.

Go Spurs!!

Bulls just won so we need to win this one if we want a chance at the #1 overall seed.

We're off too a pretty crappy start, down by 10 with 7 minutes left in the 1st.

Horrible 1st quarter. Nash and Gortat are murdering us off the pick and roll.

Manu better not be hurt, esp because he didn't even need to be out there.

didn't watch the game. I'm watching the Grizzlies game. Did manu hurt it bad?

BTW, Memphis wants us. They held out conley, allen, zach. It was a blowout game at the start of 4th quarter with LAC leading by 20, but Memphis cut it down to 5 with 4 minutes left in the game. Then memphis took Marc Gasol out inserted Haddadi.

This is on Pop if Manu is hobbled for the playoffs or misses games. There was literally no point in playing him, or any of our stars. Even if we beat the Suns, there was zero chance that the Nets were going to beat the Bulls, meaning we would've gone into the random tiebreaker thing for HC throughout the playoffs, which we may of lost anyway. Bad move on Pop's part, and a surprising one.

Starters shouldn't of been playing in this game. I have no idea what Pops was thinking.

He was thinking that they cant let te HCA so easily to the Bulls and force a tiebreaker, and dont play with the starters in LA because if the Spurs wins and the Lakers loose the next game maybe they can go to the 4ª seed and be our 2º round rival
