Ryan Richards will sign with Caja Laboral for the 11-12 season.

Richards has played well since recovering from shoulder surgery and received an invite to join Great Britain's preliminary men's senior basketball team.

After missing all of last season due to a shoulder injury Richards finally looks poised to show us whether he's for real. This is going to be a huge step for him.

Unfortunately he won't. The news was updated and it's a misunderstanding.

"UPDATE:

According to Richards, he will not be heading to Spain to play basketball for Baskonia/Caja Laboral but to visit a friend.

JUST SO EVERYBODY KNOWS...... im going 2 @baskonistascom Baskonia 2 visit my boy @DevonVanOostrum .... not play basketball!!!! "
