Starting Lineups:

Spurs:
PG - Tony Parker
SG - Manu Ginobili
SF - Richard Jefferson
PF - Tim Duncan
C - DeJuan Blair

Rockets:
PG - Kyle Lowry
SG - Kevin Martin
SF - Chase Budinger
PF - Luis Scola
C - Jordan Hill

Well we're off to a great start so far this season so lets see if we can win another one against an in state rival.

The key to this game is going to be shutting down Lowry and Martin. We need to stay tight on Martin and keep Lowry out of the paint.

Go Spurs!!

So this is what they mean when they say back to backs are hard for old teams.

I don't understand the lineups for the 2nd half. Is Tim Duncan hurt? He doesn't start the 2nd half and the 3rd quarter just ended and he still hasn't checked in. And then we play Danny Green and Cory Joseph for half the quarter? Why? What's wrong with TJ and James Anderson? The game is still within reach. Why bring out the 3rd string?

Lineup is even weirder right now to start the 4th. Joseph, Green, RJ, Bonner, Blair. First offensive possession and everyone is all messed up. Both Bonner and Blair are setting screens together for Danny Green. Ends up in an errant pass from Matt Bonner. There's no scoring and no defense from that lineup.

Bonner replaced with James Anderson. So now were extremely short. Joseph, Green, Anderson, RJ, Blair. Tallest guy on the lineup is RJ.

Didn't watch the game. Looking at the result, probably for the best. Duncan with 4p, 1r in 15 mins...is he hurt?

Nah. Duncan was just tired. He played terribly.

3 games in 4 days is just too much for him and the big 3. Houston was hitting everything. Scola, Lowry and especially K-Mart were damn hot in the game, while we could't hit jack.

No reason to worry yet.

Need another big up front that can play inside (aside from Splitter).
