Starting Lineups:

Bulls:
PG - Derrick Rose
SG - Ronnie Brewer
SF - Luol Deng
PF - Carlos Boozer
C - Joakim Noah

Spurs:
PG - Tony Parker
SG - Daniel Green
SF - Richard Jefferson
PF - Tim Duncan
C - DeJuan Blair

Well its going to be our first home game in a long time and its going to be a very entertaining game against the Bulls.

The key to this one is going to be keeping Rose out of the lane and forcing him into perimeter jumpers.

Go Spurs!!

What's the news on Ginobili - Leonard and Splitter ?

How long will they be out ?

Ginobili and Splitter will likely miss this game as they are both 4-5 days away from returning. If one of them played, it would be Splitter.
Kawhi, I don't know really. I think he is more day-to-day and will be a last moment decision.

Not a good feeling for this game.

No Manu, Splitter and Leonard.

I have the feeling we're gonna lose this game.

Rip Hamilton is starting for the Bulls now Nolan. He just came back.

The Bulls just played a close game against the Hornets today and barely squeaked out the win. So they're flying from Chicago to San Antonio to play us. Still, despite that being what I would called a "scheduling loss" (playing a tough team far away on the road as part of a b2b), the Bulls would've gotten a real game in recently whereas the Spurs haven't played in 6 days.

Even worse, we haven't played in San Antonio in nearly a month. So I also worry that we might end up losing anyway. We need to come out firing in the first quarter if we're to have any hope of taking the game. Not having Splitter is going to hurt. No Ginobili and Ford obviously blows too. . .the Bulls have a ton of depth so Tony's going to get worn out.

We need Green and Neal to step up. Tony and Timmy also need to have strong games. Sucks not having so many of our players. :\ It'd mean a lot if we knocked off the Bulls. Too many people are pretending like the Heat and Bulls are the only real teams in the NBA this year. The Heat never even come to San Antonio to play so we can't get revenge for the early game @Miami right after Ginobili went down. So I'd like to knock off the Bulls. . .but with all these injuries, not looking like a strong possibility right now. Bulls have almost all their players right now.

What about T.J. Ford?

Okay, so it looks like:

No Manu for awhile. Maybe a whole week before we even see him play a few minutes.

Splitter's close, but we probably won't see him tomorrow. Should see him back this week though.

No Kawahi Leonard, but possibly be back in by the end of the week.

No Gary Neal apparently, still hurting after the Denver game.

TJ Ford looks like he might get a few minutes, but not many, if any.

Half our team is out, wtf. :\ We're probably gonna lose with 5 guys out. Out backcourt's gonna get hammered. All we have is Parker, Green, Joseph, and Anderson? Jesus. And some of them have to play SF too since Leonard's out.

We better be red hot or we're gonna lose by 12+

Wow, I didn't realize Neal would be out too. Maybe we'd be better off if Pop rested Duncan for this one and played Dawson, Blair, Bonner and Cory Joseph and whoever else is healthy all game long :D

Nah there's no reason to rest him. He just had 5 days off.

Looks like we still won't have all our guys on the court at once for another couple of weeks, assuming nobody else gets hurt in the meantime. Then, they won't be in shape for another couple weeks (Manu will take a month probably).

So even with wishful thinking that no one else gets hurt, our team won't be at full chemistry until the playoffs. -_- I'm not entirely sure the second half is going to be a steamroll session or something because of the health concerns. Hopefully we can at least keep the two seed. I was hoping we could knock OKC down because I'd enjoy seeing them lose in the 2nd round to the 3 seed, but it doesn't look like we'll be able to grab the top seed because they're still pretty healthy and we're far from it.

All things considered not a bad loss.
