Well we're coming off a tough loss to the Clippers to play the Wizards at home. TP should be back in the lineup and this should be an easy win.

The key to this is going to be shutting down John Wall, we can't let him in the paint and we need to make him shoot from outside.

Wow TJ Ford's retiring? There goes our chances at a title this year. No backup PG at all.

How's Aaron Brooks' contract situation? Is he free to sign, or does he have to go back to the Suns when he gets back? If he does, are we screwed? No backup PG is really gonna hurt. Joseph just doesn't cut it.

I'll pretend you're joking on that one. If Ford's the difference maker for a championship, that's a problem. We can play Neal at point here and there and be fine.

While I like the team better with Ford as the backup PG, I hardly see it as a difference maker for a title also. In the playoffs, Parker should be playing over 36 minutes a game. Those 12, I'm alright with Neal as the backup PG. And I'm sure as Manu gets in better shape that he'll take more control of the team than he does now and become more aggresive. There's no arguing that he's not as aggresive as he should be this year. I think part of it is him not in shape, the team doing well without him, and Parker claiming the throne as this year's best player (something Manu claimed last year).

As far as signing someone, I hope we do sign a backup PG but not to be a rotational player at this point. Neal has done well this season as backup PG and Manu can play there too. I don't see anyone we can sign that will know the system better and do a better job than Neal/Manu.

The big question right now IMO is how the rotation plays out this season.

Manu started this game and honestly I don't like our second unit lineup. Neal, Green, Kawhi, Bonner, Splitter. It's a whole lot of jump shooting and too much reliance on Gary Neal to provide scoring from the PG position. We need to have either Parker or Manu on the floor at all times. I really hope the Spurs bring Manu off the bench this year. I hate to say it, but when they're both together, more often than not, one of them is being passive. Last year it was Parker being passive because he thinks it's Manu's team. So far this year, Manu is passive and IMO that's because he's deferring to Tony as he feels this is Tony's team. There's better balance in playing Manu off the bench. Green should start cause he provides more focus on the defensive end and Neal should sometimes start when there's no perimeter threat on the opposing team.
