Tonights the third night of our dreaded back to back to back and its going to be a against a very tough opponent in the 76ers.

This'll be a very interesting game... third game of a triple set at home against a damn good team that could give us issues with their athleticism

Good game for SA so far. 76ers have had one of the top two ranked defenses all year (a stat inflated by playing in the east, but still), and right now are far and away in the #1 spot. Yet, we're really torching their D' tonight even being shorthanded.

It amazes me sometimes how well the Spurs score when Matt Bonner's on the floor. Even when he doesn't really hit any shots, the opposition is so afraid of him getting an open look at a three that his man doesn't help defend at all.

Also, Manu back and Timmy out as I predicted. Told you Ballingz. Too bad no Splitter though.

Not a good 2nd quarter. . .but at least we're up at the half. Hope Parker didn't just jam his wrist or something. That's the last thing we need.

Sleek drive by JAX just there, I like that dimension being more regular in the offense from the SF spot

4 TOs aren't good though, haha

I expected better from Philly - this should be a win...

Spurs up 3 at the half, I go take a shower, come back, Spurs up 17 and I sit down just in time to see a steal and an alley oop dunk from Kawahi to put them up 19. Classic.

Kawhi Leonard's been a pleasure to watch tonight on both ends - what a good young player

And while Jax has had 4 TOs... he once again has been a factor on defense all night and created two TOs just earlier in the 4th... his tenacity is the element that was lacking... Sam Young did own him a couple times, though.. but hey, Bruce Bowen and Manu have been owned before, too.

Boris Diaw's length around the basket was so effective tonight - kinda surprised actually on that since he's come in... there several times in the game where he changed shots or made good contests at the basket... including one time where he forced a out of bounds off an offensive rebound

Wow, well, that was pretty surprising - good win right there

Again, I expected more from Philly... they kind of just went through the motions in the 2nd half and we just imposed the will more.

Pretty cool when you can rest three key players and win, and win big!

Looks like the Heat are choking bigtime against the Thunder tonight. They're just throwing the ball all over the gym with their eyes closed and barely playing defense at all.

I guess we can expect to still be down 3 games after tonight instead of down 2. Thanks a lot, D. Choke, Chris Soft, and LeBronze Shames.

As for tonight, despite Jackson's practically non existant performance on offense in the second half, Leonard, Green, and Diaw played excellent defense to shut down the 76ers. Very impressive performance by those three. Parker and Manu, again had good games. It's rare they even have a bad one it seems.

Even, gasp, Matt Bonner played well. I may be losing my mind here, but he's even played. . .decent defense??? in the last two games. Is it blasphemy to even utter the words Bonner and defense in the same sentence? If so, i apologize. But Bonner's done well too.

Bonner was never that bad defensively compared to other stretch 4's, Popovich using him as the 3rd big and a Blair/Bonner front court last year was just laughable. But this is the same Pop who tried making a 6'6 center experiment work, only to finally understand the limitation of that player and limited himself to giving him only 15 min a game so Spurs don't get murdered defensively.

Bonner just doesn't have the athletic skills to back it up but Blair is the one who always misses the rotation, and can't coexist with any other big beside Duncan since his flaws would be really exposed. At least Bonner can coexist with Splitter and Duncan. Splitter/Duncan(from the few times we saw) didn't seem to work offensively, but was probably the best defensive duo Duncan had since Robinson/Duncan. Hopefully Diaw can take over as the 3rd/4th big in rotation so Duncan/Splitter is the main frontcourt in the playoffs with Blair getting garbage time and Bonner finally being used properly as a stretch 4.

Honestly, I doubt Blair's even 6'6". I saw him standing next to Kawhi Leonard during today's game, and he looked significantly shorter. Leonard is listed as 6'7". He looked 3 inches taller. :\

I think Blair's 6'5" at most. Maybe even 6'4" 1/2. Either that or Leonard is 6'7" and 7/8ths or something yet he's being listed as just 6'7" for some reason.

I also hope Diaw can be in there as the 3rd/4th big. His defense has been solid, his rebounding has been impressive, though his shot clearly needs some work so he can get back to being consistent again. I'm very happy with the Diaw signing. Has really added strength to our team even though he hasn't been hitting his jumper. If he can start knocking it down, he's going to be huge.

Blair is a monster. And he's 6'5" 1/4 barefoot. Kawhi is 6'6" barefoot. According to the predraft measurements.
