Coming into this one we've lost seven straight in the Rose Garden and tonight we need to stop that streak.
Our new starting lineup looked good last night against the Kings and hopefully they can keep it going again tonight against the Blazers.

Oh man.. Where should I start?
We were playing catch up practically from the beginning. Portland had a good lead for most of the game until the 4th quarter. That's when Gary Neal heats up. And I mean he was scorching hot. He had like 15 points in the 4th quarter and even got to a point where Portland had to double team Neal at the 3 point line just to get the ball out of his hand.
At the 4th quarter, thanks to Neal, we went up by around 8 points or so but then Portland got hot too, especially Batum. So now it's ball game. And then I don't know what to say other than both teams making big shots after big shots. And there was definitely luck involved, like the sequence where Portland stole the ball, but bobbled it, lucky that Duncan was there and took it and got a wide open dunk. There were just so many instances where we got lucky, they got lucky, we hit a big shot, they hit a big shot. It was just awesome.
Parker didn't play. Neither did Blair. Ironically, the group that brought us back had none of the big 3. The lineup was Neal, De Colo, Splitter, Green, and... I forgot. I think it was Kawhi. We always had either Kawhi or Sjax on the floor because Pop chose to defend Aldridge with Jax and Kawhi. Diaw didn't play well. Small ball and Gary Neal won this game for us.
I like Neal at SG because he does what he's supposed to do out there. Score the ball. I totally hate it when he's playing PG. Today, Neal was mostly with Mills, De Colo, and Manu.
Oh and I almost forgot about Manu. Manu played pretty well today. It's the most aggresive he's been so far this season. Stephen Jackson gave it all he could againts LMA. Couldn't stop Aldridge, but I think you have to admire his tenacity. I'd like for Kawhi to be that physical on defense. With Parker out, Manu and Duncan played like we needed them to.

So I watched the game and wow, just wow! Batum was red hot and Neal got his game night wuh! Manu wasted some possessions in the end, but still he deserved the check especially with his late freethrows.
great game!

Manu had some clutch plays when we needed him to...
Neal what to say? just fabulous... And it's just the beginning of his road as a SPURS...
Totally agree with co_laper about Neal's position on the floor... SG is his place... Let the veterans run on PG...
The game... Gonna watch this game again...
And we have stopped the loosing series in Portland...
