That was definitely a fun game to watch from a Spurs Fan perspective.

Nando has definitely won the backup PG job now. Whenever he's on the floor, even if it's with 2 PG (Joseph and Mills), he's still playing PG. While I really hate it when he's shooting (he rarely makes them), he doesn't shoot it often. He tries to get to the rim most of the time and makes great passes and usually gets those hockey assists by initiating ball movement.

Cory Joseph isn't the same player as last year. He's much more composed when he's on the floor now. I remember last year thinking what the hell is this guy good at. His defense wasn't much, no PG skills, have no shot, can't get to the rim. Looking like a failed draft pick. Now he's got a shot.. atleast a decent one. He's pretty steady. He's much more aggresive attacking the rim. And then he plays hard defensively. Even if we're without Patty and Nando, I think I'm alright with this current version of Joseph.

And then we have Bonner. I think everyone hates Bonner when he's starting or playing 20+ minutes a night. Now, I can't help but get excited when I see Bonner. Not saying that I want him playing 20 minutes again, just that i'm excited when he's on the floor. He's kinda like our Scalabrine. Did anyone see him dunk and hang on the rim late in the game? Bonner is slowly becoming a fan favorite IMO. I'm certainly heading toward that direction.

This was once again another quality win, and another great game for expanding the depth and younger players on the team

Nando was awesome out there and Splitter is coming into his own now as a good NBA big man.. his scoring ability is more consistent than last year and he's more in the flow in terms of adjusting to the NBA game, I'd say

Bonner's role is good right now and should stay like this.... not a consistent primary rotation player, but somebody who'll try hard if the other options aren't working. More of a situational player, as he shouldn't be playing big minutes every game against most teams, even with his good performance against Memphis and Milwaukee. Wish we had another reliable big man on the roster aside from Dyess and Duncan those years when he was playing significant/starter-type minutes in 2009-2011.
