How Is Tim Duncan Still This Good?

Well there's a reason they call him the big fundamental and that's why he's still so effective.

He is a big man that doesnt rely on speed or quickness, and he obviously works hard at staying in game shape.
If the Spurs didnt have parker or Manu, could he still put up 25-30 points a game?

I dont pay much attention to the spurs lately, but I dont think he is the 1st option on offense anymore.

Malone was first option till 39, then he went to LA,

I think Tim could still be the first option till 39 if the injury bug leaves him alone.

Yeah, players who rely only on athleticism don't age as well as those who rely on skill so that they can still contribute when they lose some athletic edge.
