S-Jax spains ankle tripping over waitress

Reserve forward Stephen Jackson was lost early in Thursday’s game at New York after spraining his ankle during a sideline mishap involving a Madison Square Garden waitress.

Jackson was stepping back after a corner 3-pointer when he slipped over the waitress, who was kneeling down on the sideline. She was reportedly taking an order from NYC mayor Michael Bloomberg at the time.

Jackson was announced as out for the rest of the game shortly thereafter. No immediate prognosis was provided

I think we can survive without him, but not for too long. Sprained ankles are strange injuries. Some you can walk off and others lay you out for weeks. Let's hope in this case it's a short term injury.
