Apologies to Nolan, didn't see a GT so I took the reins...

Should be a tough game, the Clips got us in the first 2 this season and we beat up on them last time we played.

CP3 vs TP should be great as always, and hopefully TD can sustain his solid form into this game.

GO SPURS GO

Thanks for making one bud. I'm extremely hung over today lol and I just forgot about this game completely.

What a game.

That defensive mistake leaving Jamal open for the corner 3 nearly cost us the game. And then letting Paul roam to the paint. ANDDDD then getting the foul call for Tony grabbing Paul's jersey. Damn. Even before that, Tim Duncan was missing his last 3 shots all going flat on him. Just no arc at all on his shot. Parker also missing a couple of jumpers on his last couple attempts. I thought all that was a sign that this was a game to lose.

Tim Duncan to the rescue.

Good to see Gary Neal back.

Awesome game. That's the third straight nailbiter.

Yeah I thought we were going to drop this one as well. It just had that feel, esp when Crawford was left wide open for that 3. That's a layup for him.

Was hoping for another DeJuan sighting, they played him sparingly in the Denver game.

Any word on Manu? Looked like a strained quad maybe?

OKC lose today, so we got a 2.5 lead for the top seed.

A few things to notice these last few games though..

Looks like the strategy for nearly every playoff team we face will be to pack the paint. It's been pretty tough for Manu and Parker to get to the paint lately. And the backdoor cuts we got plenty of earlier in the season are no longer there, though we're still able to get a couple of those usually every game. But basically, the paint is all crowded now. We're having to rely on our 3 ball and more Duncan post ups than earlier in the season.

And I don't know if the stats back this up, but it feels like our offense isn't humming like it's supposed to because of that. We have lots more empty possessions than we usually do. We have a growing tendency of turning the ball over especially when Manu plays.

One thing about Manu, I think as he starts to become more of a playmaker with many scorers here, teams are starting to play the passing lanes more with him. It has really resulted in turnovers or deflected passes a lot with him. And he hasn't been finishing well at all this year. Really being over reliant on his 3 ball. I miss the Manu of old, but I'm starting to accept that Manu for 35 minutes might not be that good for us even in the playoffs. He'll win you games, but he'll lose you games too now. A lot like what the young rookie Manu used to be.

Manu is our best playmaker, and we're really missing his presence now as we saw in the Heat game. There's no energy or movement on offense and we're forced to take bad shots. De Colo isn't bad but he doesn't draw the D like Manu can.
