Splitter out 7 to 10 days

Starting power forward Tiago Splitter is expected to miss 7-10 days with a sprained left ankle, according to a Twitter post by Express-News columnist Buck Harvey.

Splitter was injured in the second half of Friday’s Game 3 rout in Los Angeles. He had five points and six rebounds in 25 minutes. Splitter is averaging 10.3 points and 6.4 rebounds in his first season as a regular starter.

The Spurs lead their first round series with the Lakers 3-0. Game 4 is Sunday.

This shouldn't be a problem if we win on Sunday and it looks like the Nuggets Warriors are going to go the distance so he should have plently of time to recover.

But his injury also means that T-Mac is probably going to be activated for game 4 and if we win it would be the first time he's gotten out of the 1st round as most you already know.

It's technically the 2nd time he's been out of the 1st round.

This is big news for us. Especially considering Westbrook is goooone, west is now really ours for the taking. Really need splitter playing as much as we can.

He wasn't on the active roster for Houston that year so it didn't count but I know what your getting at.

The Westbrook injury is huge for us but right now the Warriors have me worried.

We need Splitter no matter who we face in the next round. Diaw would be a nice addition as well.
