The Spurs will play Minnesota in Mexico City on Dec. 4 as part of the NBA’s Global Games schedule for 2013-14, marking their first regular season game outside the United States and Canada.
The Spurs have played five previous games in Mexico City, all during the preseason. It will mark the NBA’s second regular season game in Mexico City, with Dallas and Houston playing the first in 1997.
This game will be the first regular season NBA ever played outside of the US and Canada.
