Well we've waiting to see who we'd pick up to replace Mike Budenholzer and I guess we have our answer. He's got some experience as an assistant and he's been a head coach at the NCAA level as well, hopefully he's a good fit.
The Spurs are in the process of finalizing an agreement with Pacers assistant coach Jim Boylen to fill the vacant slot on their coaching staff, Yahoo! Sports columnist Adrian Wojnarowski tweeted late Wednesday night.
Boylen, 48, has been with the Pacers for the past two seasons. That was preceded by four seasons as the head coach at the University of Utah, where he went 69-60 with one NCAA tournament appearance.
Not to be confused with former Milwaukee interim head coach Jim Boylan, Boylen was previously an assistant at Michigan State, Golden State, Milwaukee and Houston, where he was a member of two championship teams.
