The San Antonio Spurs have reached agreement with free agent forward Jeff Pendergraph on a two-year deal, league sources tell Y! Sports.

Always liked him. Nothing flashy about his game but he plays well on both ends and he'll give us solid minutes when he's called upon.

And this signing pretty much means the end of Blair's time with us.

I hope you were joking.
Somehow I doubt we were pinning our title hopes on signing and getting production out of Oden...

Oden's still a massive gamble and with Pendergraph we at least know what we're getting. And this signing doesn't exactly mean we're out of the race for Oden.

Oden's played 82 games in six seasons and declared that he "should" be ready for opening day. I don't doubt that the Heat can/will win again next year too, but it's highly unlikely that Oden will factor in. I think simply returning to the NBA and being healthy for a stretch will be a huge enough accomplishment for him.
