The Milwaukee Bucks are on the verge of signing shooting guard Gary Neal, according to sources close to the process.
Sources told ESPN.com that a deal between the Bucks and Neal could be finalized as soon as Saturday after Neal's agent, David Bauman, halted negotiations with the Atlanta Hawks.
The Bucks and Hawks emerged as the top two contenders to sign the sharpshooter after the San Antonio Spurs withdrew their qualifying offer to Neal earlier this month, making him an unrestricted free agent.
If it does happen it'll be a good move for both teams. He'll be the first guard off the bench for the Bucks.
Surprised he's not going to Atlanta though. With Mike B and Ferry there I would of thought it would of been a easy sell for Neal.
