When: 8:30 PM ET, November 8, 2013
Where: AT&T Center, San Antonio, TX
Tonight's probably going to be our biggest test so far. The Warriors have been great on both ends so far and we're going to have to bring our A game if we want to beat them.
Go Spurs!!

Is it worth watching?
That apart, I'm glad we won.
What do you guys think will our chances be this year? I have this tremendous feeling of depression looking at the next post-season, I just hope Duncan, Parker, Ginobili and the others' minds are stronger.

Not a game we should've won, but I'll take it.
Gotta say, this Warriors team without Curry is just a totally different team. They started the game with a "big" lineup featuring Barnes, Iggy, and Thompson. But that doesn't run as well as they should perhaps because of a lack of playmaker. Also, they become a dump it down post up team trying to post Klay Thompson on Tony Parker over and over again. Basically, they don't run much.
Their most productive unit comes when they're playing Toney Douglas at PG but not because Douglas is a playmaker. It's because they stop trying to post up Klay on Parker every time and just play.
Klay certainly has laser eyes today. I thought he forced up a lot of shots when he should've made a pass. Over aggresive.
Officiating didn't help either and that's for both sides. Lots of calls that are just weird. Bill and Sean said that was the NBA's new emphasis on some stuffs and that's why refs are calling it. It certainly mess up the flow of the game.
Kawhi, despite his modest boxscores, made a big impact IMO. He was efficient offensively and made a lot of defensive plays.
What worries me so far through 6 games is the lack of dependable scoring source. Last year, Duncan atleast post up a few times every game. Now, almost never. And when he does, it's almost like he's trying to overpower 7 foot 270 pound centers. His bread and butter now is the midrange jumper and that's only automatic when he's at the FT line. Problem is, sometimes he catch it a little further at the top of the circle and he makes that like 1 out of 3. Safe to say that Duncan's biggest value lies on the defensive end, because he's no longer a dependable source of scoring.
Manu also goes hot and cold. Parker can't do it alone. That's why it's so important for Kawhi to be aggresive.
I thank god Diaw is shooting, posting, and scoring, because he's probably our most consistent offensive player so far.

Not a good game to watch. I was bored the whole time. Toney Douglas went off, that might've been the highlight.
Kawhi has been solid so far but hasn't made the leap like many expected. He's not Paul George obviously but I was hoping that he's project into that type of impact on both ends and it hasn't happened yet. George has carried the Pacers this year while the rest of his team struggles on offense. Kawhi isn't capable of doing that, not yet at least. Maybe comparing him to George is unfair, but it shouldn't be.
We're 5-1, but it doesn't feel like we're a 5-1 team with the way we're playing. Our point differential is like +2. We've won the close ones with execution and experience.
I hate the officiating so far. It's usually bad to start seasons as they enforce new rules/reinforce existing ones and it usually tapers off after two weeks. But this year they've tried to do too much and it's impacting the game flow too much. Now all of a sudden they're cracking down on traveling and carrying? Dudes have made a career out of getting away with those two things. Duncan seems to get called for travel at least once a game so far. And this delay of game thing is ridiculous. If the ball goes through the net and a player catches it and throws it to either the ref or the opposing team, that actually speeds up the game, it doesn't delay it. Stupid rule.
