Should be similar to the Nets game. Hopefully the Knicks stay for the entire game, unlike Brooklyn......

Fun watch for me as Knicks and Spurs are my #1 and #2, respectively. As someone who's seen all Knicks games I can tell you the defensive energy and execution was off the charts compared to what we've been seeing. Our youth with Toure Murry and Shumpert came through. Look forward to the Spurs bouncing back and hoping this can spark something for the Knicks.

Missed the game but it seems turnovers were the biggest factor.

We sucked in this game. If not for Belinelli we might've lost by 20.
We're not very good at home this season. 5 losses already.
The Knicks looked pretty good, much better than their record would indicate. The combination of Chandler, K-Mart and (gasp) Amare kept Duncan in check really effectively.
Kawhi continues to underwhelm. I wish he was more aggressive.

Expectations for Kawhi might be too high this season. But I'm starting to get disappointed with Tony Parker's play this season. He's just not as aggresive as last season, and I'd say that I hold him to last season's standard. Last year, he played like MVP and carried us in games a lot. This year, we're not exactly winning because of Parker.. It was more our bench that break games open. The way he's played this season, I wouldn't even vote him an allstar. I'm sure he'll get in, but that's because the Spurs will have one player in the allstar game and Parker puts up the sexiest number of anybody here. This game, he put up 12 points, 7 assists in 34 minutes. That, in a game where nobody other than Marco played particularly well.
Also, the game again shows us how weak our SF rotation right now. Kawhi got in foul trouble, forces Danny Green to guard SF. Just like againts OKC when Kawhi was out, I thought Danny did all he could againts Carmelo. There was no way Danny was shutting him down, but if we didn't put Danny on Carmelo, Melo might've gone for 50 points in 2 minutes. What hurts us most by doing this is our defense from our guards, mainly Parker and Marco. Shumpert was doing damage, just like Westbrook did.
The luxury we have when we play Kawhi and Danny together is that we're a stronger defensive team. Kawhi and Marco, we're a stronger offensive team. But this forces Parker to chase around PGs instead of Danny doing the dirty work.
Personally, I'd rather we stick with the old lineup. Splitter, Kawhi, and Danny gives us our best defensive unit to start the game. And then when Diaw, Manu, and Marco gets in with the 2nd unit, it gives us our best offensive lineup.

Yeah, that's part of it. Kawhi's great Finals probably bumped up his expectations this year but he's been too passive and hasn't really added anything to his game. I love his D but he seems too content to settle for the long 2 too often. The frustrating part is he's got the skill and athleticism to really carry us for stretches. He's shown that in his time here but he always seems to defer to the others.
Parker has been disappointing. I think Lillard or Curry should get his AS spot. With CP3 out 3 to 5 weeks, that will carry through to the AS weekend, so he may not play anyway. I don't hold much stock in AS appearances anyway. I look more at All-NBA appearances and MVP voting.
Belinelli has been fantastic for us. Pop has said that he's never seen a first year player grasp the system so quickly.
It's weird. I think the way some of our guys are playing, we shouldn't have such a great record. Other's have exceeded expectations which is making up the difference I guess.
