Brandon Rush and his expiring $4M contract and 3 & D ability (yes he is now healthy.)
For
2014 1st Round Pick & a trade exception if you have it or your choice of Matter Bonner or Boris Diaw who have similar salaries.
Rush is a stud 3 & D guy who is still young and will help during this period while Kawai is out with his hand injury.
Thoughts.

Re: Jazz Fan Trade Proposal
We're only going to be short on the wing for about 10 to 12 games so I doubt we'll be willing to give up a first to fill that gap. We'll find someone from the D-league to help on the wing in the meantime.

Interesting, but I doubt we do anything crazy at this point. We will manage without Leonard and see what happens.

Re: Jazz Fan Trade Proposal
We have Kawhi, Marco, Danny, and Manu locked up. I think for the meantime, until Manu retires, that's going to be our SG/SF rotation. 4 guys, 2 positions. Brandon Rush is basically a one year rent. And when everybody gets healthy, he's not even going to get playing time here.
Because of that, it makes no sense to trade a first round pick to get him.

Re: Jazz Fan Trade Proposal
Do you really expect to get a 1st round pick for pos-injury Brandon Rush ?
2.5ppg/1.3rpg @ 38%FG with a PER of 5
You will be lucky to get a team willing to give up pure cap space/TPE for him.
I wouldn't trade Bonner or Diaw straight up for him.

Shaq on Duncan:SA won because of TD, a guy I could never break.I could talk trash to Ewing, get in D-Rob's face, get a rise out of Mourning, but when I went at Tim he’d look at me like he was bored and say:“Hey,Shaq, watch this shot right off the glass.”

Re: Jazz Fan Trade Proposal
I think that Marvin Williams would be a better fit anyway, he has played really well for the Jazz. Since he and Burke have come back we've hovered at .500. Maybe this is works for both sides (also posted on the trades board):
http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=m5lxf94
Utah Trades: Marvin Williams, 2014 UTA 2nd
San Antonio Trades: Matt Bonner, Nando De Colo, Aron Baynes, 2014 SAS 1st
The Spurs move down about 8 to 10 spots in the draft, but in return they add a guy that is perfect for their system. Marvin is a great 3 and D player who plays great man defense at the 3 and the 4. He's a large reason why the Jazz risk slipping out of the top five in the lottery. This is all about consolidation, and the Spurs trade relatively few assets for a player that will really help them throughout the season, especially with Leonard injured.
The Jazz, meanwhile, move up in the draft by moving Marvin and then jumping from an early second round pick to a late first. With three first round picks and tons of assets they will be in a better position to make moves on draft night to acquire the prospects that they want.
