When: 8:00 PM ET, February 6, 2014
Where: Barclays Center, Brooklyn, NY

No Parker tonight and I wouldn't be surprised if Duncan sits as well. Could be an interesting one.

As expected, Spurs center Tim Duncan will be rested tonight against Brooklyn after logging a season-high 40 minutes in Wednesday’s double-overtime victory at Washington, the team announced Thursday.

He is joined on the bench by All-Star point guard Tony Parker, who missed the second half and beyond with tightness in his lower back. Spurs coach Gregg Popovich had said immediately after the game that Parker would not play against the Nets. No status or timeline for his return was provided. The Spurs play in Charlotte on Saturday in the fourth game of their annual Rodeo Road Trip.

Boris Diaw could also miss tonight’s game, as the Spurs said the forward is suffering from food poisoning. Diaw is listed as questionable. The Spurs are without shooting guard Manu Ginobili (hamstring) and small forward Kawhi Leonard (hand), who are expected to return after the All-Star break.

Williams just went down for them :( Hope it's not serious.
We started off pretty well but all of a sudden we stopped moving the ball around. We have no inside game at all ATM....

Can't be mad

SA would not beat BK @ NY with the Austin Toros.

I will accept a loss but I really would like to see us play better than that, even with the injuries. That 2nd half was brutal. We couldn't score a bucket inside to save our lives with that lineup tonight. Without being able to go inside-out at all, there is no room for us to get open threes. Brooklyn is one of the few teams in the league that is less athletic than we are but all they had to do was spread the defense and contest threes and we were toast.

I love AK47's game. Still wish he's here. I would even say that AK could've supplant Kawhi in the starting lineup with his passing/shotblocking/size.

Anyways, didn't expect us to win this game. Nando played very well yesterday and today. I thought the group that started the game looked good. When the bench starts coming in, it starts to get ugly.

Patty, often makes me pull my hair out. He has incredibly bad shot selection, but he's been shooting good percentages on them. When he's making it, he's our savior. When he's not, you just wanna yell at the TV. The ball sticks with Patty. He's looking for his own shot way too often for my liking. Move that ball around. If nothing good present itself, then it usually goes back to him and he gets to force a shot up anyway. But don't force shots up with 18 seconds left in the clock.

Tough game but in the end we just didn't have enough fire power to win it and I really don't have a problem with that.
