Wiretap: Spurs interested in Beno Udrih

Why? I like what Patty Cakes has been bringing. If we only acquire Beno at the deadline I'd be pretty disappointed. We need a backup for Kawhi. Our 3 depth is poop. I don't expect us to make any moves this deadline personally. The only way we ever get pieces is off waivers after teams give up on trading vets no one wants to trade for anymore.

The only way I can see us being legitimately interested in him is if we have another deal in place for a SF or big with Cojo or De Colo being dealt.

Smells smoke screen IMO
Nolan is right. The only way it makes any sense is if SA has another deal in place with Cojo or Nando being dealt.

Like you guys said... Maybe as a Joseph replacement or a DeColo replacement for another deal but that's about it. I honestly think he is a downgrade from any guard on our roster but if it means getting a backup SF I'll deal with it......

He's a solid backup and he's better than than he's shown so far in New York.
