Adrian Wojnarowski and Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports reported on Thursday that the Orlando Magic and forward Glen "Big Baby" Davis have reached an agreement on a buy-out agreement. According to Spears, Davis is expected to clear waivers by Monday where he'll be an unrestricted free agent and can sign with any team.

Spears is also reporting that the San Antonio Spurs could be one of several teams who are expressing interest in Davis.

Davis, 28, a 6'9" undersized power forward, is averaging 12.1 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.0 steals, and he's shooting 45.3% in 30.1 minutes per game. On the Spurs' end, they already have a loaded front-court when healthy that includes Tim Duncan, Tiago Splitter, Boris Diaw, Matt Bonner, and Aron Baynes.

Hard to see how he'd fit in but he's a decent player that brings a lot to the table.

Thoughts?

I think he could contribute more than Ayers or Baynes do honestly. And he can shoot a little bit. I think the Clippers can pick him up off waivers before we can though. At least I think I read somewhere that the Clips wanted him.

I'd be glad to have him on the spurs, but I think he'd choose the Heat or Clippers before he'd pick the spurs.

I don't think we'll get him here. If we do, he's probably only taking Ayers minutes. Even so, that means our second unit's frontcourt is Diaw and Big Baby.

I just don't see this as a good fit for the current team. Not what we needed at the moment.

I'd like him here. But he is undersized and basically just a more talented DeJuan Blair, and we know what happened to him when he played here.
