Wow.. That is nice..

That pretty much sums up all of the offensive sets we have.

I'd like to watch more of a breakdown of the Spurs out of bounds plays though, if you can. Pop's the best at that.

Thanks for the video! The Spurs still use the entire floor to run an offense. The rest of the league has a "Three or Dunk" mentality with nothing in between anymore. I don't think the Spurs offense is anything other than a throwback to better days in a league that wasn't obsessed with entertainment as much as good basketball.

I don't think that it is a "given" that the Spurs have the best offense in the league. The Spurs coaching staff (and many others) figured out that the three point shot is the most efficient shot and then game plan to take advantage of that. Putting a three point shooter in both corners has been pretty standard for them for years.

Duncan used to be a monster inside scoring threat and also an excellent, and willing, passer. He made things a lot easier for the outside shooters. While he is not near as good as he was, he is still quite good, and things still work quite well in the regular season. But that is partially because the bottom half of the league doesn't even play defense in the regular season (which is maybe why they don't make it to the playoffs).

Notice that the Spurs had a great record against the bad teams, and were pretty subpar against the better teams. That doesn't scream "best offense in the league" to me. Rather, it seems kind of worrisome to me, since you don't get to play all those bad teams in the playoffs.
