Ehh....the league has passed us by, we cheated too many area's in regards to drafting and staying with vets too long. It was bound to bite us in the back side at some point.

Teams like LA aren't supposed to know anything about drafting. LA's thing is about Free Agency.

Well at one time the Lakers were really good at it. The times have changed in the NBA. You have to be a little more diligent in that area, you have to have a mix now in this league. Free agency is different now, its not all about money anymore. The Lakers learned that last summer.

Well it's tough when you don't have much practice at drafting high, and the Lakers haven't for a while.
