Simply the most impressive human being, the league has ever had. Such a great role model, a hall of fame player and as much as he likes to remain humble - still one of the most underrated and overlooked players.

I remember that game very well. I recall going into school the next day (1994 was my last year of high school) and boasting to my friend who was a Ewing fan that Robinson just scored 71 points.

Here's the youtube clip:

Admiral was the reason I got into basketball.

Not only a great basketball player but a great human being. It was a shame he was inducted into the Hall of Fame with Jordan because he deserved the day all to himself.....

I liked it, if only because it showed the contrasting classiness of each person. MJ the obviously brilliant yet somehow bitter icon calling out ex-rivals, and Robinson all class and humility as he showed gratitude to family, coaches and ex-teammates.

I know the FO hated Rodman after that one year, and i don't know about you guys, but i absolutely loved Dennis when he was in SA.

I did to co_laper. It gave us something we've rarely had and that was a toughness wildcard. The guy averaged something like 16 boards a game that year. He gave us energy, defense.

But back on the Admiral, (obviously a personal fave player of mine) he was just a beast. He had a few 50+ games and a bunch of 40's but it was everything else he did with them. He'd have 40/20's, games with 10 blocks, big (BIG) triple doubles, that quadruple double etc he did so much. Stuff you simply don't see in big guys these days. Suddenly if you score 20 pts and grab 10 boards a couple times you are an AllStar lol. (looking at you Hibbert).

I loved Rodman in SA. I didn't like that he threw the team under a bus in the '95 WCF, but with Dennis you take the good with the bad. Daly and Phil Jackson were able to get the best out of him. Unfortunately him and Pop just butted heads too many times. Plus the Madonna thing was a distraction.
