The other thread was getting a bit stale so I thought i'd start a new one for the playoffs.

Pacers looking tike the Pacers again. They held the Wizards to 63 and their offense looked smoothish for the first time in a while.

I don't see anyone coming close to beating Miami, including the Pacers. That team looks as mentally weak as it gets. I really don't see anyone in the West besides the Spurs having any chance either. But we would have to continue to play the aggressive style we have played that last three games to even have a chance. Portland, OKC and LAC would fold mentally to Miami easily.
Not saying we are guaranteed of even getting out of the West but we are the only chance the league has of stopping the Heat this year.

So Miami knocked off Brooklyn last night. Really thought the Nets were going to put up more of a fight.

No way in hell Indy beats Miami at this point. I only hope they beat each other up a little before the finals.

Hey guys, didn't know where to post, but saw this thread and wanted to post to say see you in the WCF. Should be a great series, you guys are a class act as fans and an organization. Hope the winner takes out Miami!

What's the word on Ibaka's injury?

Nothing yet. I'm assuming later today they'll have news.

Indy looked impressive today. If they can keep that up...

I really don't care who wins the East as long as they beat each other to hell.
Actually I think it would be sweeter to conquer the Heat to atone for last year but they will be much tougher than Indy who I think we could beat easily. I'll accept a title either way if we can get there

Insanity. They had a 1.7 percent chance of winning it. I would if they try to trade it for Love again?

I don't rate Love that highly. He gets stats on a bad team. Shoots too many threes, doesn't have a great post game and his midrange game is worse than his outside. Would be great 2nd or 3rd best player on team.
If I were the Cavs I'd take someone in the draft rather than any available established player. Providing they don't make the same mistake again, they'd be best finding their future franchise player (since Kyrie isn't it).

I hope Cavs take Embiid over Wiggins or Parker.
I feel that with Kyrie and Waiters, the Cavs are too ball dominant in the perimeter for guys like Jabari or Wiggins to develop offensively. Embiid, if healthy, will fit better with those two.
I want Wiggins and Jabari Parker be in an environment where they'd be asked to handle the ball a lot in their rookie year. It should accelerate their development.

Love would be a good 2nd for a team. No way he's 'the guy' though.
I'd take him here if he was open to the spurs way of doing things.

He isn't. Not even close.
After Brewer tied his franchise record, he clearly went out the next few games to break it.
Then when the season was done he was forcing triple doubles every game.
It boggles my mind that the media rates this guy as 'the guy' on a team.

Sounds like the Cav's want nothing to do with Embiid at 1. They're very concerned about his back.

I'm thinking Cleveland are passing on Wiggins and taking Parker in hopes that the Duke connection will keep K. Irving around...
I wouldn't touch Embiid with a ten foot pole(pardon the pun)

Who knows what they'll do. I could also see them reaching and taking Exum.
