GT: 76ers vs. Spurs

When: 8:30 PM ET, November 17, 2014
Where: AT&T Center, San Antonio, TX
Well after a fairly successful west coast road trip we're back at home to face the 76ers.
This should be an easy one but the 76ers have some talent and they play hard so we can't sleep on them.

We do play hard, but we have inexperienced guys that get lost on defensive switches. Any good passing team should be able to pick us apart with regularity. It wouldn't shock me if you beat us by 30.

This type of game is what they call a "trap game" for a reason so we'll see. After losing to a Euro team in the pre-season you could say anything is possible but that was an exhibition. Pop will not let things get away from us in this one but I expect a lethargic game from both sides. I just don't see a blowout here. I also don't work in Vegas for a reason

Pretty much the fans of every team we've played so far has said that about us (trap game). Even if you guys miss somebody, i don't see this being a close game, not really a good matchup like Mogul mentioned.

Great 1st quarter so far. Offense looks really sharp, then again it is the Sixers.

I'm sick for sixers fans! Goodness and mercy they are terrible! It'll be nice to see the Spurs have done easier games. The Spurs have had the hardest strength of schedule of any team to this point. We struggled against the good teams last year, I still think we get over 60 wins.

I'm not worried about us winning the game, but I wish the Spurs weren't so charitable. They often let bottom-feeding teams crawl back into the game, just like they're doing tonight.

The good news is we won and scored 100 again. The bad is that we won by 25 points but we played sloppy. Also, Anderson is struggling and the ATT center music in the 4th made it sound like I was playing a Japanese video game.

All things considered, it was a quality game... low minutes for the elders.
Anderson doesn't look great, but he'll round into form. Anyone who wasn't expecting him to be pretty rough this season was dreaming (I'm looking at the folks who had him in the running for ROY especially... not gonna happen).
I'm with you on the music, though. I don't know what the hell that was all about.

Baynes finally looked like himself for the first time this year. Confident and beastly.
