I rarely use the word 'desperate' in December, so I'll just say that a win would be really, really beneficial right now.

Can't complain too much about a first half like that. I wonder if Danny and Tiago play the 2nd half at all?

Taking a lead to 4th, so can't complain too much. The meager 8 assists is one of the dark spots tonight. Also, Ellis is going Spurs killer yet again.

Geez... I believe in some moral victories, and I really have to give it to our guys for fighting so hard in all these close games this week.

We need this win. These guys need to see that, at least SOME of the time, if you fight your heart out, you can overcome the odds.

Come on, basketball gods. We've earned it after the week we've had.

I no longer believe in the basketball gods.

It's tough to keep losing... This year has been worse than last year injury wise. These games have been winnable and we have been choking them away. The Dallas announcers putting way too much value on beating the Spurs B team with their entire team intact.

3 straight loses and all of them were tough to swallow. We need to get healthy ASAP.

If we can take positives so far this season, it's that our role players are getting great experience.

To think Baynes was nearly not signed by an NBA team. He has been solid.

Danny Green has shown improvement, especially with overall confidence in himself. (He's now the only player in NBA history to have 7 threes and 5 blocks in the one game)

CoJo has played so much better than I ever imagined. I still don't see him getting minutes when Parker and Mills are healthy but it's comforting to know he is capable if called upon.

Marco seems to definitely have got confidence back and about time too. He was looking like being swapped for a D Leaguer for a minute there.

Also good to give some minutes to KA, help with his development.

But yeah, also some negative signs for sure. Thankfully they are happening at the right end of the season for now.

Seriously though, the NBA may as well send the Eastern Conference on a 12 month holiday. The West is stacked with tough team after tough team.
