We need it tonight. Here's hoping it won't be a grinder against a bad team; we've got to start winning some of these gimme-games convincingly.

Parker is hurt and out of shape IMO. He just can't finish like he used to right now.

Pop conceded this game way early IMO. There's over 4 min left and we are done.

Yuck, that was a hard watch. Almost reminded me of watching Pistons games for the last 5 years.

Gimme-game? This attitude is the problem. There is no such thing. You have to show up every game. The Jazz have beat some of the best in the NBA this year including Golden State and Portland.

Tony has become a real detriment to the team. This is the worst I can remember the Spurs looking since David Robinson went down with that back/foot injury. Something needs to change, bring Slomo back, anything, but we can't keep going with this rotation.

My attitude is the problem? The attitude of an anonymous fan is the reason the Spurs are having trouble? Please. I'm fairly certain that my attitude has very little impact on their performance. If you honestly think the players and coaches have that attitude, you don't know the Spurs.

Having said that, we all know what a gimme-game is. The Spurs at their best are better than the Jazz at their best. Obviously, that doesn't guarantee anything, but the term 'gimme-game' is just a term of convenience, playing on the averages.

He likely meant the team had that attitude. They probably do. It is as if the team (and most of us fans) believe we could start the playoffs in 8th, on a ten game losing streak and just use our past experience to magically snap out of it.

But I disagree about any game being a gimme in this league. Particularly against a Jazz team that has beat a bunch of top teams.

I blame Pop more than anyone right now. 23 different starting lineups may sound fun. It may give guys confidence and experience but it's all for nothing if you have no solid group to call upon when needed. You could almost say it has backfired looking at recent losses and the general lack of motivation.

Hey spurs dudes, Jazz fan here. I'm going to suggest something that won't be popular.

Rebuild now, while you have assets. If you let Timmy and Parker retire, you'll have to rebuild from the bottom, but if you cash in now on your hometown heros, your rebuild can be minimal. I know it won't happen, but believe me when I say you'll regret not rebuilding when you still have assets. Peace.
