GT: Spurs vs. Trailblazers

When: 10:30 PM ET, February 25, 2015
Where: Moda Center, Portland, OR

We've been playing some pathetic basketball over the last little while and we really need to start turning things around. A win would nice but a competitive game would be a good start.

Go Spurs!!

Ugh! Nationally televised regular season game on the road. We usually get beat up in these type of games and all the ESPN talking heads call for our demise. We will see what effect that Utah game has on our pride but I really don't see a win here at this point. Hope I'm wrong.

Crazy first half. Tim Duncan is good. Tony Parker is bad. I'm not sure which is more of an understatement.

So frustrating. Tony better wake the hell up; it's almost March.

Go Spurs.

Still winnable down ten following a classic Spurs third quarter. Hopefully the 4th mirrors the 2nd quarter.

Can we rewind and use the trade deadline to fix some of this embarrassment?

Kawhi hasn't been playing well either lately. He used to be very efficient. I even remember the days when Kawhi has a knack for making tough inside baskets. Now he can't hit a thing.

I just wanna choke Parker right now. I'm losing hope for this season. We have not played like a championship team and it's hard to expect a championship season again out of this group. The last 2 years are amazing and it might have taken a toll playing all the way into june for the last couple seasons.

My guess is that this is a first round exit for us unless we start seeing a different Parker before playoff time. Everything is on Parker's shoulders right now. A healthy Parker makes a whole different Spurs squad. This version of Parker just sucks. He provides nothing on the defensive end. He doesn't space the floor. He dribbles around unable to get to the paint and settles for midrange jumpers that he used to be good at but not this season.

Give him 5 games off, start Mills for those games. Oh and as well as Baynes is playing, he is a bench player. Go back to Boris or Splitter as the starter.

None of us are going to write anything that the rest of us aren't thinking. It's just frustrating to see our guys struggle, but such is the nature of sports.

As a means of encouraging my fellow fans, though: we've had plenty of seasons where we've rounded into form during the stretch run. We can't do anything but have faith in our guys and in Pop. There's still plenty of time for them to identify the root problems and address them.

Here's hoping the next few weeks are galvanizing for the team; here's hoping also that Parker figures it out, because I think that if he can find his way, it'll have a domino effect on many of the team's other issues.

Go Spurs!

I am expecting these kind of games till it's confirmed that his eyes are fully healed. Anybody saw an angry Pop yelling at him? In that case we know his eyes healed.

Agreed. I love Baynes but he's a bench player, Splitter needs to start.

Yeah, me too.

Baynes hasn't been bad. In fact, he's been much better than I expected, but he's still behind Boris Diaw and Splitter in skill.

With Parker not being his usual self, we really need to add a playmaker to that starting unit. I think either Manu or Boris has to start to provide that for us.

I don't know.. But I'm not gonna put the blame on his eyes though.

I think Kawhi's been shouldering a lot of the offensive load and his offensive game isn't that advanced yet, therefore his efficiency suffers. Remember last year when his post ups are only when he has a smaller guy on him. Now, even when a Matt Barnes guard him, Pop lets Kawhi go ISO. That almost never happens last year. And he's taking way more midrange jumpers than ever before.

In this system, I'm okay with Kawhi being the 2nd option.. But definitely not as our leading scorer. I'm tired of waiting for Parker to play like his usual self. 2/3 of the season is over.

He is not a robot, if he cannot see straight that's not something that you can compensate for on offense.n KA was recalled,so igf he is really bad KA can have some short stretches. It's not like these things are always announced. Doc know the reason Jared Dudley was awful last year was because he was injured. It's not like they even said it. You don't want other players taking advantage of it because they know.

I am registered but they don't want new users. Also you can expect a lot of stupid racist and homophobic nonsense.
