With Dallas losing again tonight againts Phoenix, they now have 27 losses. We have 25 losses. For the time being, it looks like we shouldn't fall lower than 6th spot for a while. 3, 4, and 5th spot is still within reach. Where do you think we'll end up being at the end of the season? Who do you want to see in the first round? And what seed would you prefer the team to be at?
Without looking at schedule but strictly to injury issues, I'm thinking we may sneak in to 4th place by season end. Blazers are currently facing injury problems and could fall. And I just think either Clippers or Houston will fall, but not both probably.. So I'm thinking 4th place could be it.
The seed I want to be is 6th though. I don't want 7th because that's meeting Memphis in the 1st round. And I'd like for us to meet Golden State in the WCF. So either we go all the way up to 3rd place, or we stay at 6th place. Seeding wise, that's what I want.
The team I want to see in the first round is Houston. Dwight isn't healthy yet and even if he comes back, I'm just not sure how much of an impact defensively he'll have. And we're a team that doesn't foul.. I think againts us, Harden won't get to the line a crazy amount of time. He'll have a game or 2 where he keep on getting to the line and we think the refs give them that game, but more often than not, I think we'll keep his FT attempts at below or at his usual rate.
