Will the Spurs give Kwahi a max contract?

Just wondering (pretty sure he's restricted free agent right?) if Spurs give him the money or would they let him walk.
Doesn't seem like a max player quite yet but finals performances and the rise in the salary cap could make his contract a bargain if he keeps improving ala Jimmy Butler.

How far is he from making that next step to an All Star?

Thanks guys.

They shouldn't but they will.

He'll get it but we'll see what the term is. Hopefully we can lock him up long term, with the pending cap jump in 2016 his max deal could turn out to be a steal.

Yes, he's restricted. I find it hard to believe the Spurs don't give him the maximum.

As far as allstars go, I think he would've made it if not for him missing a bunch of games during the first half of the season. And it's only the last couple of months that he's gotten healthy and playing the way he is now.
