Spurs Salary Cap 15/16 Season

Salary Cap is $67.1 mil, but luxury tax limit is $81.6 mil.
Parker $13.4 mil
Splitter $8.5 mil
Diaw $7.5 mil
Mills $3.2 mil
Anderson $1.1 mil
So about $34 mil committed
Leonard will get a max deal - (Spurs made mistake not doing this a year ago) $16 mil
That adds up to roughly $50 mil with $30 mil to spend before you hit Tax
That means with $30 mill to spend you need to:
Duncan = $10 mil - if he takes what he got last year
Green (maybe come back)? Probably around $7- 8 mil if you want him back
That leaves about $14 mil, and you have filled just 8 roster spots - they need to fill 5 more. The only way the Spurs can possibly bring in a max contract free agent is to rid themselves of some salary = Parker, Splitter, and Diaw all overpaid - Parker you could question, but if he plays at the level he did a year ago he is - under 5 assists/ and 14 ppg. Parker is 33 - and has three more years on his contract - hard to find a trade partner. Splitter and Diaw together form one Center that is costing the Spurs $16mil/ one has to go. I don't see how they pull off a deal for Gasol or LMA?
The only scenario I see is trading Splitter and not resigning Green (get someone cheaper). Their problem is they have so few productive rookies - rookie contracts. The Bucks (my other team) have three starters on rookie contracts - four if you count Henson.
Maybe I'm missing something?
