So the preseason is almost over (tomorrow's our last game) and there are still a few questions marks about the rotation.
Parker, Green, Leonard, LMA and Duncan are going to start and Diaw, West, Manu and Mills are all going to play every night if they're healthy but the question is how are we going to fill in the gaps. Simmons, Anderson, McCallum and even Rasual Butler have all looked capable of giving us decent minutes off the bench and Bonner's still around as well.
So how do you guys see the rotation looking in the early part of the season?

Re: The Rotation
Parker (29), Mills (19)
Green (25), Manu (20), Mills (2), Anderson (1)
Leonard (31), Anderson (14) Green (3)
LMA (32), Diaw (16)
Duncan (26), West (20), Diaw (2)
Guys like Anderson, Simmons and RMC will have some more playing time when Manu sits in b2b. Also, Diaw, West and Boban will play more when Duncan sits.

Re: The Rotation
Butler made the team, I can see him stealing minutes early on from Anderson.

Re: The Rotation
What do you guys think about Tony playing more with the bench? Pops did it for a bit in the first half yesterday and honestly the starters looked much better with Patty out there instead.

Agreed. Westbrook is going to feed on anyone, but I'd like to see it.

I think it helps both units as well. Having Parker play with the second unit makes them even more formidable and it puts the ball in Kawhi and LMA's hands more often.

Don't agree with that.
Taking Parker out of that first unit means the offense has absolutely nothing else but post up games for Kawhi/LMA. Parker might not put up the numbers offensively, but he runs the offense well and is the only guy on that first unit capable of running a solid P&R. Defensively, I know he leaves a lot to be desired, but Patty isn't any better againts starting PGs. Only way Patty starts is if Manu start with him.
I think the rotations right now are starting to be figured out.

Diaw/West can't play together, and that's why we start seeing either LMA/Duncan always on the floor as the Center on the second unit. Sadly, it leaves David West with so little minutes to play. He's looking like the odd man out playing the Aron Baynes minutes usually coming in on the 2nd quarter for about 5 minutes each half.
Kyle Anderson isn't a SF and continues to show he can't be one with that 2nd unit. The court shrinks when Kyle is at SF because he can't stretch the floor much like when Richard Jefferson first got here. That 2nd unit looks much better with Danny Green or Kawhi at SF. Hell, even Rasual Butler. We're deep enough right now upfront... I'm sad for Kyle because I really want to see him play. His best position is as a stretch PF where opposing PFs usually aren't used to guarding guys on the perimeter.

I'm not saying we start Patty all i'm saying is that maybe we let him play more with starters and let Tony play more with the bench. Patty gives Kawhi and LMA more spacing, he is a better defender than Tony and if we play Tony with the bench mob a little more often we might get some extra scoring out of him which never hurts.
I'm fine with us going offense defense with Anderson and Butler off the bench. I really don't think we need a set for those 10 or so minutes off the bench. If we need some extra size and defense in the game we put in Slo-mo and if we need spacing we go with Butler.
