Spurs prospect, Davis Bertans in his second game after ACL injury, right now in euroleague against Real Madrid is doing what he did before the injury and that is getting buckets, right in only 12 minutes he is 3/3 from 3pt, 2/2 from free throw line. Looking pretty good, right now and his team is +10 after 3rd.

Such a shame he had to deal with serious injuries so early in his career.
I still love him as a prospect though. Amazing shooter, terrific size and the right mental approach to the game. From all the Spurs guys abroad, he is the one I have the biggest hope. His game simply fits well in todays NBA

Happy to hear that he's back on the court hopefully he can keep this up. Always been a fan of his.

Last night again in Euroleague Bertans went nuts, in only 9:30 minutes of playing time he scored 12 points, 1/1 2pt fg, 3/4 3pt fg, 1/1 from free throw line. He is getting buckets

He is showing good strong cutting skill on that knee during the celebration.

nba teams will be very hesitant to take on damaged goods no matter what the skill level
if he can come in very very cheaply he would be worth a shot i guess

That's great news for SA. I hope he accepts.
A 6'10 SF that can shoot like him would be welcomed by any team in the NBA. Personally, I think he is ready to contribute right now.

Hopefully he takes that offer. Nice looking combo forward that can really shoot it. Worst case scenario he's a Bonner replacement.

Awesome news. He'd fit in by the looks of it.

ok for the minimum. there is absolutely zero context in those videos so its hard to say if he is really all that good. i mean you could put a camera on me and i might make 2/50 3 point shots... edit out those 48 and i'd look pretty good too!

So apparently the offer is going to be 2 years 4 million total. Could be a great value pickup for us if it works out.

be fighting simmons for minutes?
hows his iniside game? can take the man of the dribble? shoot inside or layups?
can actually see him improving his defense when he comes here...
a backcourt of kawhi/green/simmons/bertans? thats good enough for me...

He'll most likely be fighting with Anderson for minutes. He's a pure shooting combo forward, not that strong or that great on the boards though.

I wonder how athletic he is and can he play D against wing players? Everyone knows we are after KD but if he goes to GS then we need another wing defender who can shoot and with the length to challenge KD. They are of similar height and build. Kawhi will spend most of his time on Curry or Klay and we need someone to guard KD when GS goes to the death lineup...

He's fairly mobile and he's got decent hops but he's probably not going to be a good defender. He's just not strong enough or quick enough. If you want a comparison think a slightly taller Korver.
