GT: Lakers vs. Spurs

When: 6:30 PM MT Feb. 6th 2016
Where: AT&T Center, San Antonio TX
This will be Kobe's last visit to the Alamo and it'll be our last home game before the rodeo comes to town. Kobe has been playing decent since coming back from injury but this should still be an easy win for us.
Go Spurs!!

Was working again so missed it. How was it? Noticed Kawhi with a lot (career high?) of free throw attempts. I guess that's a good sign.

I didn't watch much. Was watching OKC and GSW instead. Concerns me that OKC got punched in the mouth just like we did but they came back and made it a game while we folded like a tent.
Anyway, looks like the Lakers shot well and made a game of it. Bryant was making a lot of contested shots he hasn't normally made this year or it might have been another easy win.

Just watching the replay now. Lakers are really hammering Kawhi, not letting him get anything easy.
2nd unit also looks really really good so far. Patty and Boris are starting to heat up.

Also TP literally took Hibbert out of this game with a pump fake.

We really didn't take the Lakers seriously in this one. This is one of those that could of ended very badly for us.
Some vintage Kobe happening in the 3rd quarter.

http://espn.go.com/blog/san-antonio-spurs/post/_/id/450/gregg-popovich-hopes-kobe-bryant-mentors-kawhi-leonard"[Popovich] wanted me to stay in his ear a little bit and talk to him a little bit," Bryant said. "I definitely, definitely, definitely will. I think he just has a tremendous amount of potential and he's only going to get better. If I can help him out in that regard, I most certainly will."
Never really liked Kobe but I think it can only be a benefit to Kawhi receiving any mentoring or advice from him.
