GT: Spurs vs. Hornets

When: 5:00 PM MT Mar. 21st 2016
Where: Time Warner Cable Arena, Charlotte NC

This should be another tough one for us, the Hornets have been on an absolute tear since the beginning of February and in that time they've taken themselves from the fringes of the eastern conference playoff race to the top half of the conference.

If we want to win this one we have to make life tough for Kemba, dominate the paint (looking at you LMA) and we have to limit the turnovers.

Go Spurs!!

trap game man

they are 17-4 in their last 21 games surging for a playoff spot....spurs must remain focus and beat them instead of allowing them an easy win to get into the playoffs which could hurt the spurs chances of chasing the warriors or giving some playoff team an easy opponent since hornets has decided to shut down davis for the season...

Kawhi's midrange game is unstoppable.

Hornets making a bit of a run right now. We gotta tighten up the transition defense and cut down on the turnovers. The Hornets have adjusted and we haven't, we're just forcing things right now.

Nic Batum would look soooo good in a Spurs uni.

Just got home. I've only seen the boxscore and i'm aware it was a comeback by the Hornets. Can somebody paint me a quick picture of what happened?

Not totally surprising. And perhaps a blessing in disguise. It let's us accept right now that we will be the 2nd seed and hopefully allows Pop to rest some guys and try a new rotation or two... hint hint Danny Green on the bench.

And I love Lin. I suggested we sign him in the offseason thread, he'd be perfect for our team and look at the bargain basement price he asked as well. Missed opportunity imo. Would probably run the pick and roll with LMA better than Parker due to his strong driving ability and finishing over big guys.

That got real ugly real fast. By the time we reacted to what was going on it was too late. Lin had an amazing game but that was a game we should of won easily.
