Diaw dealt to Utah

The Spurs will have to clear cap space to sign Pau Gasol and Diaw is the most probable candidate.
Before the start of free agency, the Spurs decided not to waive Diaw and his $7 million salary for 16-17.
Probably a good idea. I like Diaw but he's declining rather quickly.

I'm a little nervous about this because he was our best big outside of LMA last year. Having Gasol around will make it less noticeable though

So pretty much a straight salary dump.
I liked Hanlan as a college player and he is Canadian so I do have a soft spot for him but I doubt he ever amounts to much as an NBA player.
