Dewayne Dedmon has agreed upon a two-year, $6 million deal with the San Antonio Spurs.

The Orlando Magic rescinded their qualifying offer to Dedmon to allow him to become an unrestricted free agent.

Dedmon also drew interest from the Golden State Warriors.

Love it. He's foul prone and not the greatest offensive player but he's big, tough, blocks shots, rebounds and plays pretty good defense.

One of our offseason needs, of which there were quite a few, was a defensive minded, rebounding, post presence and Dedmon is just what the doctor ordered. Sad to see Boban go but we we couldn't afford him. Dedmon is a nice consolation prize. Love this move.

He has an interesting backstory to say the least for those who arent familiar with him. He is the type of player we needed and could afford....

I wouldnt be too attached to the guy. Hes a rental until Milutonov comes here or we find someone better.

Still we've got him for two years and he's exactly what we've needed for a couple years now.

I'm really confused about how our cap looks like.. I didn't even know we still have 3 million to use. I hope this isn't a sign that Duncan retires.

Good pick-up, just the kind of big who's been missing for years...

Would be great if the 2nd-year wasn't a PO because like said, he's probably going to play his way into a nice 4-year, 40-50 million dollar deal, which were probably not going to focus much on spending that kind of money on a back-up, Lobs+D+R guy... if not more knowing some teams with the new cap...

Yeah totally agree. He really seems like he's headed for a breakout season, he was really underutilized in Orlando.

I know it's just selected highlights but his pull up jumper from midrange looks nice!

Only highlights, but this guy has MOTOR. With all the money being offered this year, it's a steal to get him for 6 mill/2 years.
