GT: Spurs vs. Warriors (Season Opener!)

When: Oct 25th 8:30 PM MT
Where: ORACLE Arena, Oakland CA

It's time!!! The regular season begins on Tuesday and our first game is going to be a very very tough one against the new look Warriors.

Without Green we're going to struggle to stop the Warriors perimeter players, so I guess getting under Draymond's skin and getting him out the game is our best chance at an upset. Without him things will definitely fall apart for them on the defensive end and it might throw they're offense out of rhythm, but really i'm reaching for a way to beat this team. It's going to be tough.

Go Spurs!!

Not high hopes for this one, but we might catch them still in the midst of ironing out their rhythm and cohesiveness on-court. Not having Green to get into Klay's space is going to be a big hurt, though.

I feel a blowout loss is in the cards but it doesn't matter at this stage of the season.

I also think not having Green (at least early on) will be a blessing in disguise and a chance to see what Simmons has in him.

So Forbes and Green are inactive for this one. Kinda surprised that Forbes isn't dressing actually.

So Anderson is starting at SG...

I like Slo-mo with the starters but maybe not against the Warriors.

I fully expect to be blown out because this franchise simply does not put a premium on regular season games which is fine by me.

Aldridge looks out of NBA shape.

Watching David Lee elevate and take away a rebound from Durant made me smile. We didn't have one player who could do that last year...
