GT: Jazz vs. Spurs

When: 7:30PM CT, November 2, 2016
Where: AT&T Center, San Antonio, TX

This is one of those games that seems like a 'gimme', but we all know how many times those have been famous last words. Gordon Hayward is out with a finger injury, but at this point in the season, every team is finding itself and a game like this is a perfect opportunity for someone else to step up and play 'hero' for the Jazz, so the good guys need to bring it all.

Go Spurs!!

Jazz have been a little shaky to start the season but they're a deep and talented team that's going to give us troubles in the paint.

Containing Favors and stopping their shooters should be our top priorities in this one!

It's an interesting to me because I see Utah as Clipper-lite without Hayward. Two big athletic guys down low and a good PG but, suspect everywhere else. It's a good matchup to try out things you might want to use against a good Clippers team down the road.

They really haven't played all that well so far. But I like their supporting cast. Burks, Exum, and JJ are all pretty solid players and I'm a really big fan of Rodney Hood.

any info if some players will get rest?

I would really like to see Gasol come off the bench or have him play in the top of the key and Aldridge on the post.

I agree with that....I just think stylistically they compare to the Clips. It's a good prep game for the real threat.

Ah yeah I'm with you on that. Jazz play a little slower but very similar.

Sounds like everyone is going to be playing in this one.

Other than Boris  Utah is resting him.

So, I've been occupied by G6 of the World Series, and I've only been able to keep up with the Spurs game via box-score updates...

...what the heck happened?!

spurs exposed man

simmons cant shoot and when he has a cold night dont expect anything to drop in from him,
ka why did the spurs pick up his option, dude is a scrub plays so slow and no effort chasing down the open shooter
parkers defense is just as bas as his shooting and playmaking, every team will just force feed their player scoring all over parker...

david lee shouldve had more minutes
bertans shooting wouldve been useful this game, why resting him? his locked in for 2yrs contract
resting kawhi too much in 2nd half
lma scored the bulk of his 20 in the first half only to see his touches dry up in t he 2nd half...think he had like 2-4pts in the 2nd half from paus passes...

Tonight was one of those nights where it just went right for them. Although they really are a quality team on the rise and George Hill has really improved that.

Working on the glass was poor, Utah shooting something 11/12 from 3pt in the first half, just ridiculous.

Agree tho that KA needs to be traded, don't know what could be obtained. You can tell he has quality, just too slow.

TP usually starts slow, but this season doesnt even look like hes trying. At least in pre season he looked really good.

Didn't catch this one.

My League Pass was accidently cancelled, because I guess asking a question about billing equals wanted my subscription cancelled.

League Pass I think was just having all sorts of issues. I started watching the game on my Roku, then it went down in the 2nd when the Spurs went on a run, and I couldn't see it on NBA.com either, but suddenly towards the end of the 2nd it came on in NBA.com, but it wasn't available on the Roku. I called League Pass 4 times, but they never picked up, lines were busy, so it looks like everybody was having problems streaming games. I imagine the cable/satellite users were ok.

Thing is for international league pass there isn't even a number to call. Everything has to go through email (I'm pretty positive most of the process is automated too) and it takes days for issues to be resolved. Really really really **** customer service, I'd complain but there's no one to complain too.

That sucks. Reminds me of a dry cleaner service I used twice which uses a locker room system (drop your clothes in a locker, you do the order on a phone app, and come pick it up when you get a notification), and their customer service sucks. This year though, I have to say the service has worked quite good for me, though the NBA.com site sucks right now, but on Roku it's awesome, and you can hide the scores.

Yeah it's great really. It's just frustrating that this simple little mistake could of been fixed with a 5 minute phone call or 5 minute live chat, instead it's taking days.

Last year the service was terrible. I was using a PC connected with ethernet to my router with good internet speeds (75+mbps) and it was still lagging. Glad they fixed it. Having a dedicated app could probably help to make it even better, like Sling, it works flawless on their Windows app and on Roku.

Agreed. The streaming quality has definitely improved and they've slowly been improving the service. But man it could be soo much better.

I think they need to buffer a little more. I dont mind a 10-20 second delay as long as the service is flawless. I would probably go as far as 30-60 seconds, but then you can't go on forums or look at box scores without spoilers if you're watching live lol.
