When: 7:30 PM MT, Dec 14th 2016
Where: AT&T Center, San Antonio TX
We're coming off a great performance and we should be well rested for this one after three days off. So I'm expecting another a impressive 1st quarter and a win.
Boston's a tough team though so we're going to have to bring it on both ends.
Go Spurs!!

We suck right now. I fully expect the Spurs to kill us.

No IT for the Celtics tonight. That should make our lives a little easier tonight.

So no LMA tonight. Guess we're saving him for the Sun's?

Aldridge not playing so he is fit for his trade physical?

We have Manu shooting fade away contested threes while Bertans is posting in the lane back to the basket. What is wrong with this picture?
Otherwise we are playing well in spurts. Our crappy defense and Boston being decent offensively is keeping them in the game.

Pau and Lee look good together.
I dare say the offense flowed so much better without Aldridge.
I'd honestly be shopping him. Seriously, anything decent we get is going to be a positive with what he has brought of late and the pieces we have to already fill his gaps with more time for Lee, Dedmon and Bertans.
An 84 million dollar 16/6 spot up Shooter is not our future. I know it's harsh.

Agreed. It was quite shocking actually, I really wanted to see Dedmon start but I have no complaints about what we got out of those two last night.

Another good win last night. Once again we got off to a good start, offense flowed nicely all game and while the defense wasn't perfect I did like a lot of things we did.
The good:
-Kawhi - He was efficient and decisive scoring the ball and he did an amazing job setting up his teammates. He made a few mistakes on the defensive end but overall he did a good job getting himself involved in plays despite the Celtics best efforts to run their sets away from him. That block on Horford was also amazing.
-Tony - didn't try to do too much, played within himself and was effective. That's the Tony we need, opportunistic and unselfish with the ball.
-Pau and Lee - I was worried about those two starting together but they did a great a job on both ends. Cleaned the glass, pushed around the smaller Celtics and Pau in particular did a great job finishing around the rim.
-The bench - Solid as always. Patty was his usual amazing self, Manu hit some big shots, Bertans made some plays, and I love how we finally have a guy that we can just toss it up too in Dedmon. He was really good on both ends last night, had a few hiccups but his impact was huge.
-Our defense - We did struggle a bit at times but I liked the way Pop's mixed things up by throwing some zone at them, trapping on the perimeter and I was big fan of the way we applied early pressure on their ball handlers forcing them to react to us rather than it being the other way around.
The bad:
-No real complaints about this one. We allowed them to get back into the game a few too many times but the Celtics are a talented and well coached team so that's to be expected. The only other thing that bothered me was the lack of respect we had for Avery Bradley, guys really stepped his game up this and we let him get a few too many easy ones.
