GT: Spurs vs. Trailblazers

When: 8:00 PM MT, Dec 23rd 2016
Where; Moda Center, Portland OR

Last game of our little 3 game road trip. We could use a win after last night's loss and we should beat this Blazers team.

The Blazers have been a little out of sorts so far this year (especially on the defensive end) if we can take advantage of their poor play in the paint and contain their guards we should win easily.

Go Spurs!!

No Tony, Manu or Pau tonight. All resting.

It was obvious...give Pau rest and feed LA to the post again and again vs his former team...Parker being out right now it's even a positive factor...
Still, there's no excuse to loose this one, Blazers are really bad right now and we are the better team anyways even with 3 of our main guys resting.
Hope to see Dejounte some more minutes tonight, he looked great last night...and also because Lillard can go to 70 in this game with Laprovittola guarding him.

I'd actually like to see a bit more of Murray

Murray and Dedmon starting, hell yes!

Murray looked pretty good. Got by his defender at will, once he gets used to the speed and contact, that floater is going to be money.

And for what, the third year straight I have to say it yet again... Danny Green should NOT put the ball on the floor or shoot a long two at ANY time.

Aldridge looking ineffective again...

Maaan...Aldridge going agressive today, playing good defense and hunting for boards...hitting tough shots, but he still fails the easy ones again and again...but at least he's being active today and I like his attitude tonight.

He definitely had a much better second half yeah. Surprised he finished with 18pt, 14reb, 6 asst, 3 steals.

Leonard was unreal. 33pts, 5 threes,

Dedmon was a little disappointing for me. 6pts 7 rebs, 2 blocks but didn't seem as impactful as he is when coming off the bench.

Mills was awesome as always. 23pts, 5 assists, 5 threes.

We are a better team without Parker. There is no doubt in my mind. No over dribbling today, Aldridge worked inside and got a bunch of points and assists from it and Kawhi was able to find his spots in the offense much better.

Simmons starting to turn the corner and learn what it means to be consistent. 10pts, 4 rebs, 3 assists off the bench. So handy.

Blazers are pretty bad though so we'll see how we fare against the Bulls on Xmas.

If Murray can maintain the growth ive already seen from him in the next couple seasons, he could be a nice player for us
