After the thrill of an OT gut-it-out tilt in Cleveland, Monday night against Brooklyn will hopefully feel like a scrimmage for the good guys. The Nets remain a struggling team, coming off an 11-game slide recently before splitting their last two games. There hasn't been an announcement yet on whether Jeremy Lin (strained hamstring) will play for the first time since late December, but we know Parker won't go for the Spurs.

Kawhi's streak will probably end here if he plays (I think Pop might rest him) because it'll be a blowout.

I'd start Aldridge, Lee, Anderson, Green and Murray.

Give Manu a rest (probably injured anyway), play Bertans and Dedmon more than usual as well.

This could be a rough one looks like Pau, Tony and Manu are all going to be out and we could see an off night from Kawhi (he's gotta be gassed). We need a solid team effort and we cannot play down to the Nets level. We have to come out with energy early and establish our style of play.

Might as well go ahead and rest Kawhi. He deserves some good rest after his career night against Lebron. Play Aldridge but no more than 20-25 minutes. Jeremy Lin is out another 3-5 weeks so it should (keyword is should) be an easy blow out

The Nets are bad, but they are not bad enough that you can just sit the whole team and beat them. That will be a situation where this game turns into a 120 point affair. This team actually has a good offense. They lose because of defense.

Hopefully, the Spurs can get a big lead and play the younger players more minutes, but wouldn't shock me if it was close. Luckily, tomorrow the Raptors will be without Derozen. I say the Spurs try to win this game and rest for tomorrow.

another easy win here, dunno why kl is inactive...could be an easy game to pad another 30+ pt game for him

even with toronto game tommarow, that is another easy game anyway...he should be playing

First half was ugly, but second half was beautiful. Contesting everything, moving the ball. Not as sloppy. Bertans a foul machine and Bryn Forbes seemingly having no idea where he needs to be on the floor. Hope he can get one down before the game is over.

I think you are being a bit harsh on Bertans. Half of his fouls wouldn't be called on 90% of the league. He has been chosen as the token guy to call a foul on. Every team has one. I feel sorry for him half the time.

I'm glad they rested Kawhi and expected them to do so. Still not sold on Dedmon as a starter though. Maybe Lee and Aldridge with Pau and Dedmon in the second unit because he seems to have more of an impact off the bench.

This could be the case, but if he didn't foul as much, he would have played well over 20 minutes last night. He still plays too much defense with his hands. He was in foul trouble in the Denver game as well.

It's no great shakes to beat the worst team in the league, but a road blowout minus four rotation players (three starters) is a great confidence boost. I think it'll be a struggle in Toronto tomorrow, though; here's hoping Kawhi can go and that his night off tonight gives him some extra energy to make up for what some of the others might be lacking.

Ugly first half but we got things under control in the 3rd and blew them out, as we should. We really struggled to get things going early without Kawhi, LMA couldn't get good post position and Dinwiddie's length really bothered Murray. But Mills and Lee came in and really helped us turn things around.

Resting Kawhi was definitely the right move, we need him for Toronto even though they've been struggling a bit lately.

Some Positives:
- Anderson - Another great game from him. He's shooting the ball better and shooting it with confidence now. Hopefully he can keep this up and continue to play excellent defense.

- Mills - He's been off for the last weekish so it was nice to see him go off and take control of this one.

- Lee - He's continuing to be amazing. Rebounding, moving the ball, pushing the pace and finishing around the rim.

The not so good:
- LMA - He did have a good game but I really wanted to see him take this one over with Kawhi and TP out... and he didn't.

- Murray - Not a horrible game from him but definitely a game he can learn a lot from. Like I mentioned early Dinwiddie made things difficult for him with his length and spped. Murray's going to have to learn how to attack bigger defenders, as he gets better teams are going to gameplan for him and they will send guy like Dinwiddie his way. Also didn't like his performance on the defensive end, he got lost off screens often and just didn't bring that compete level that he's brought in the past.
