His transition defense is still one of the best in the league, and knowledge of the system of still the reason why he starts.

I've already accepted the fact that we aren't going to see 2003 Finals' Green every single night. He still my boy. But of course I completely understands everyone's frustration. It feels so long ago that he once averaged over 9 PPG

Basically this. His shot is still a tad off at times (I'd like him to be a bit more consistent) and while he's drastically improved his off the dribble game it's still horrible but he plays great defense knows the system and stretches the floor. He's just not someone we can rely on for consistent offense and he probably never will be.

This is who he is and I'm fine with it. He's still a very valuable part of this team.

Even if it has taken a step back (I don't think it has) it's still far better than it's ever been. Same goes for his finishing ability. Prior to this year Danny putting it on the floor was a 100% guaranteed bad play now it's about 50/50, still painful to watch but not always a complete disaster.

why is pop telling green to expand his game when he has reach his full potential of a limited offensive player...we all saw what happen when he tried to turn gary neal into a pg

green spot up 3 cant even hit it when his open, but hits it when spurs need basket, also notice his jumping inwards also everytime his shooting?

then he stole nve move in transition dribbling the ball down court and pulls up for a 3 brick...
also notice his spending more time chewing the refs...
